Romería Ofrenda: pilgrimage and offering to San Miguel Arcángelverified

Neighbours, districts, local associations and visitors cross the village centre accompanied by ox carts, parrandas and folk groups, offering the fruits of the land to the patron saint on one of the most representative days of the festivities.

Neighbours, districts, local associations and visitors cross the village centre accompanied by ox carts, parrandas and folk groups, offering the fruits of the land to the patron saint on one of the most representative days of the festivities.
The municipal programme asks people to come in traditional Canary dress and to respect the rules so that the essence of the celebration is preserved. The cart awarded first prize goes on to represent Valsequillo at the Romería Ofrenda to Nuestra Señora del Pino. The day continues in the Plaza Tifariti with the Noche Canaria at 21:00 and the Verbena Romera at 23:00. The Iglesia de San Miguel also holds the Misa de Romeros, with an offering destined for people in need.
