Romería of Fañabé, shared meal and danceverified
On Sunday 20 September at 14:00 the romería of Fañabé, a pilgrimage procession, sets off along the customary route to the square, accompanied by parranderos, friends and neighbours. On arrival the papada is served, the shared meal prepared by Comidas La Unión, and then the dance begins with Fernandito Martín, DJ Luis de León Puretas Party and Toke Latino, until the early hours.
The romería is the street day of Sunday 20 September inside the Fiestas de Fañabé 2026, which the Fañabé neighbourhood of Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, celebrates from 12 to 21 September in honour of Nuestra Señora del Campo and San Juan de Dios, led by the Comisión de Fiestas de Fañabé 2026 and the Adeje town council. The pilgrimage procession follows the customary route and ends at the square of the neighbourhood.
The Sunday opens at 12:30 with Mass. At 14:00 the romería sets off, accompanied by parranderos, friends and neighbours. At the end the great papada is served, the shared meal prepared by Comidas La Unión, and then the dance follows with Fernandito Martín, DJ Luis de León Puretas Party and Toke Latino, running until the early hours of the morning.
