Ricky, el profesor de tenis and The Power of the 80's in the town hall square of Icod de los Vinos (FIC 2026)verified
The 20th Festival Internacional Clownbaret comes to the town hall square of Icod de los Vinos with two street shows for all ages. At 18:00 José Luis Redondo presents “Ricky, el profesor de tenis”, a participatory clown act with juggling, balancing and acrobatics. At 19:00 Eddy Eighty follows with “The Power of the 80's”, where circus meets pop culture. Both shows take place on Friday 9 October 2026.
In José Luis Redondo’s “Ricky, el profesor de tenis”, Ricky was a tennis star in the 1980s until an unfortunate doping test ended his career. The 50-minute show is dynamic, participatory clowning that combines humour, improvisation and circus skills such as juggling, balancing and acrobatics. Afterwards Eddy Eighty presents “The Power of the 80's”, 60 minutes that revive the look, the music and the imagery of a decade turned cultural icon, with juggling, balancing and comedy. Both shows are suitable for all ages.
The two performances are part of the 20th Festival Internacional Clownbaret, FIC 2026, which runs from 30 September to 25 October. They take place in the town hall square of Icod de los Vinos on Friday 9 October 2026: Ricky at 18:00 and The Power of the 80's at 19:00.
