Ricky was a tennis star in the 1980s until an unfortunate doping test ended his career. In the middle of a midlife crisis he tries to win back his glory by taking to the street as an unusual tennis coach, using humour, improvisation and circus skills to win over the audience, though not always successfully. It is a warm, very human piece about failure, ego and second chances.
Behind Ricky is José Luis Redondo, trained in circus and clowning in Madrid (Carampa) and Buenos Aires (Circo Criollo), founder of La Mano Jueves and a performer at the Teatro Circo Price.
