‘Remojo de los chochos’ re-enactment at the Fiestas de La Rambla, San Juan de la Ramblaverified

On Monday 5 October at 16:00 the Fiestas de La Rambla re-enact the ‘Remojo de los chochos’, when farmers carried sacks of lupin beans down to the rock pools to soak them in the sea. Meeting point at the Barranco Ruiz.
The Fiestas de La Rambla once again bring the re-enactment of the ‘Remojo de los chochos’. It recalls the time when local farmers came down at this time of year to the rock pools of La Rambla with sacks of harvested chochos (lupin beans), to soak them in the sea and give them their typical salty touch.
The re-enactment is on Monday 5 October at 16:00, with the meeting point at the Barranco Ruiz.
