Burning of the Haragán and end-of-fiestas verbena in El Socorroverified

On Saturday 3 October 2026 at 20:00 the burning of the Haragán sets off from El Calvario. The route is driven by car through the different streets of the district until it reaches the square, where the burning takes place on the adjoining ground. It is one of the most recognisable images of the end of the El Socorro fiestas.
The end-of-fiestas verbena then begins in the Plaza del Socorro, with Grupo Primera Marcha and Orquesta La Sabrosa. The programme sets no time for the verbena: it starts when the burning ends. The following day, Sunday the 4th, brings the Day of the Elders and the closing act.
