The neighbourhood of Nido Cuervo, in Gáldar, holds its fiestas in honour of Nuestra Señora del Carmen between 18 September and 4 October 2026, with a programme organised by the residents' association together with the town council.
On Friday 25 September at 17:00 one of the neighbourhood's best-loved culinary traditions begins: preparing the traditional sancocho, which the programme describes as a symbol of meeting and neighbourly life.
