The final day of Lanzarote en Familia 2026 brings together Paola Roig and María Fornet in two talks linked by a single reality: everything around raising children also shapes women's identity, expectations and decisions. In La crianza imperfecta (The Imperfect Upbringing), perinatal psychologist, psychotherapist and author Paola Roig revisits Donald Winnicott's idea of the "good enough mother" to talk about guilt, expectations, mistakes, repair and self-demand, and to argue that children do not need perfect carers but relationships that are secure enough. In El verdadero empoderamiento es el económico (True empowerment is economic), psychologist, writer and entrepreneur María Fornet reflects on motherhood, financial independence, ambition, work and the freedom to decide.
The day runs on Wednesday 28 October 2026 from 17:00 at the Salón de Actos del Cabildo Insular in Arrecife and lasts 180 minutes. Admission is free, with limited capacity.
