For the second talk of Lanzarote Architecture Week 2026, organised by Lanzarote's Official College of Architects, architect Óscar Miguel Ares presents «Una cierta manera de hacer». He talks about working with material, space and what already exists, and about searching in each project for its own logic, one able to transform with few means. The session also includes the short documentary Strange Goodbye, which tells a story through a selection of projects awarded at the 17th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BEAU) and looks at architecture through memory, displacement and belonging.

The event is held at El Almacén on Calle José Betancort in Arrecife, lasts about 90 minutes and is recommended for ages 12 and up. Admission is free with an invitation, available online. Organised by COALZ and the Cabildo de Lanzarote y La Graciosa. Friday 9 October 2026 at 18:30.
