NOON Canarias 2026: Alexis Cárdenasverified
NOON Canarias is a series of midday concerts: every weekend at 12:00, music takes over one of the most recognisable spaces in the archipelago, from historic palaces to viewpoints with wide horizons. On Lanzarote the venue is the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz in Arrecife, and this date belongs to Alexis Cárdenas. Admission is free while capacity lasts.
The series is run by Vector de Ideas, with Promotur Islas Canarias as main sponsor and support from the Canary Islands regional culture and heritage department, the town councils of Arrecife and San Sebastián de La Gomera, the Fundación Tenerife Rural of the Cabildo de Tenerife and FEDAC of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The programming leans mainly on Canarian ensembles.
The idea goes beyond the concert itself: it connects music, place and heritage, and gives new life to spaces that come back into use every weekend. The previous edition drew more than 2,000 people and built a loyal following among residents and visitors alike. Capacity is limited and there is no booking, so arriving early is the safest way to get in.
