Mass and procession of San Francisco and the Virgen del Rosario in La Montañetaverified
On Sunday 4 October at 11:00, mass in honour of Saint Francis and the Virgen del Rosario in La Montañeta (Garachico), followed by the procession with the Agrupación Musical de Garachico; in the afternoon, a toast with Medio Litro and a performance by Grupo Luna.
On Sunday 4 October at 11:00 the mass in honour of Saint Francis and the Virgen del Rosario is celebrated by Don Marcos Antonio García Luis-Moleiro, with singing by the Asociación Cultural Ben-Gara. Then both images go out in procession along the customary route, accompanied by the Agrupación Musical de Garachico. It is part of the Fiestas de San Francisco de Asís y la Virgen del Rosario in La Montañeta, in the pine forest above Garachico, from 2 to 7 October 2026.
At 15:00 there is a toast in the square for everyone attending, with music by the group Medio Litro, and at 16:00 Grupo Luna performs.
