The Mass in honour of San Mauro Abad and the procession with the patron close the festivities, ending with fireworks.
At 20:30 the Mass in honour of San Mauro Abad is celebrated, sung by the Coral Polifónica of La Villa de Breña Alta. The solemn procession with the patron then sets off, accompanied by the Puntagorda Municipal Band.
Along the route there is a tableau vivant of El Jesús de la Humildad y la Paciencia. When the procession ends there is a large fireworks display, and at 22:00 the trophy presentation and the closing dance with Claudia Sánchez.
San Mauro had a reputation across the island for working miracles, and so many votive offerings were left for him that in the eighteenth century the church authorities banned hanging them in the temple.
