Santa Cruz de La Palma celebrates its Fiestas de San Francisco from Friday 25 September to Sunday 4 October 2026, with the Plaza de San Francisco and its surroundings as the main setting. The programme is organised by the Comisión de Fiestas and the city council.
The festivities end on Sunday 4 October with the solemn acts. At 19:00 the traditional Misa Canaria is celebrated in honour of the patron saint, with the participation of a section of the Coral Municipal of Santa Cruz de La Palma. After the service the image goes out in procession through the surrounding streets, and the programme closes with the customary firework display.
