Craft market and diana floreada on the Day of Nuestra Señora de La Luz in La Isletaverified
Saturday 10 October, the Day of Nuestra Señora de la Luz and the main day of the Fiestas de La Naval, begins in La Isleta with the diana floreada, a morning wake-up parade leaving the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz at 09:00. At 10:00 the craft market opens in the gardens of the Castillo de La Luz and on Calle Juan Rejón, with crafts and local produce. In the evening come the procession at 20:00 and the Batalla Naval at 23:00.
The Day of Nuestra Señora de la Luz is the main day of the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval, organised in La Isleta by the Asociación La Luz de La Naval and the city council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It opens with the diana floreada, which leaves the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz at 09:00, followed by the craft market, devoted to crafts and local produce, in the gardens of the Castillo de La Luz and on Calle Juan Rejón.
