Mercado Agrícola y Artesanal de Mancha Blancaverified
The Mercado Agrícola y Artesanal de Mancha Blanca, in the municipality of Tinajo, opens on Sundays from 9:00 to 14:00. Laid out in a U shape, it gathers nine stone zocos arranged into 18 stalls: eight for farm produce, two cheese makers, one for wine, one for jams and farm produce, one fishmonger, two bakers and one craft stall. On the last Sunday of the month local traditions are shown as well. Entry is free.

On the last Sunday of each month the market adds displays of local traditions, such as traditional threshing, the grape harvest and grape treading, the tafeña and the making of gofio, along with folk performances. The market opened on 30 July 2006 and has been recognised in the Premios Distinguidos del Turismo of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, in the cultural and sporting events category. Entry is free.
