Gáldar Farmers' Marketverified
The Gáldar farmers' market brings local producers to Plaza de Santiago and the surrounding streets every two weeks, always on a Sunday, from 09:00 to 13:30. The stalls offer zero-kilometre produce: fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan bread and cheese, honey, wine and other local goods, with live music through the morning. The Gáldar farmers' market is an initiative of the socio-economic development department of Gáldar town council, run in collaboration with the primary sector department of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, and it belongs to the island-wide programme of agricultural, livestock and fishing markets on Gran Canaria. Every two weeks, always on a Sunday, local producers fill Plaza de Santiago and the surrounding streets, with the aim of showcasing the quality of the farming sector in the town and on the island.
The stalls offer zero-kilometre produce: fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan bread and cheese, honey, wine and other local goods, while live music performances give the heart of Gáldar a festive feel. This edition takes place on Sunday 1 November 2026, from 09:00 to 13:30.
