Los Jinetes del Groove in concert at the Centro Cívico de Las Galletasverified
Los Jinetes del Groove, a Tenerife quartet formed in Valle de Guerra in 2021, bring their sound between funk, soul and acid jazz to the Centro Cívico de Las Galletas in Arona. Their repertoire combines original compositions with a live show shaped by improvisation, and in 2022 they released Cañonero, their first studio album. The concert is on Thursday 1 October 2026 at 20:00; admission is free and capacity is limited.
Some music is for listening and some makes the body start moving, and Los Jinetes del Groove belong to the second kind, as the concert announcement puts it. The quartet was formed in Valle de Guerra in 2021: Diego Jiménez on saxophone, Jonay Mesa on guitar, Pablo González on keyboards and bass and Pablo Galán on drums. Their sound moves between funk, soul and acid jazz, with original songs, live improvisation and a first studio album, Cañonero, released in 2022.
The concert is organised by the Patronato Municipal de Cultura of Arona town council, appears in Arona Cultura’s October cultural programme and is recommended for ages 11 and up. Admission is free, with limited capacity. It takes place at the Centro Cívico de Las Galletas on Thursday 1 October 2026 at 20:00.
