Youth Cattle-Dragging League: Jacinto Báez Trophy at the San Roque festivitiesverified

The Canarian Dragging Federation brings another round of the youth cattle-dragging league, the "Trofeo Jacinto Báez", to the San Roque festivities in La Laguna.
Cattle dragging is one of the traditional Canarian sports that visitors rarely come across: teams of oxen pull a weight across a sanded track, and the handler's technique counts as much as the animal's strength. The youth league is where that tradition is passed on.
It takes place next to the San Roque chapel at half past six in the evening, as part of the neighbourhood's festivities.
