La Salita opens its 26-27 season with a revival of Libros cruzados, by Antonio Tabares and Delirium Teatro, directed by Severiano García. The starting point is bookcrossing: leaving a book in a public place so that someone else finds it and passes it on. Three women rethink their lives after reading a copy found by chance. This is the second of the three announced performances, and it runs for about one hour and forty-five minutes.

The play starts from bookcrossing: leaving a book in any public place, a street, a park or an airport, so that someone else finds it, reads it and lets it go again, forming a chain. The copy in circulation is Anna Karenina, by Tolstoy.
Prompted by that chance reading, three women are forced to face themselves: Mariana, a museum attendant who lives an insipid reality; Patricia, a novelist whose craft and the honesty of her relationship are called into question; and Silvia, who finds consolation in the face of pain. It is a production by Delirium Teatro and Auditorio de Tenerife within Proyecto 40 Delirios, for the company's 40th anniversary. Recommended for ages 14 and over. The doors of La Salita open between 15 and 5 minutes before this 19:30 performance.
