The play starts from bookcrossing, the practice of leaving a book in a public place for someone else to find and leave again, forming a chain of readers. The book passing from hand to hand is Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, and reading it brings the characters face to face with themselves: Mariana, a museum guard; Patricia, a novelist; and Silvia, who seeks solace in its pages.
The staging is produced by Delirium Teatro and Auditorio de Tenerife within the 40 Delirios project, marking the company's 40th anniversary, and directed by Severiano García. It is recommended for audiences over fourteen, and access is only allowed from the age of five. This performance starts at 19:30 in La Salita, with the doors opening between fifteen and five minutes beforehand.
