Cuca, the mother from “Mi hija Mari”, returns to television, this time as a hopeful in the first edition of Miss Lady Canarias, a programme that sets out to celebrate the traditional values of the Canarian woman: honesty, loyalty, simplicity, family and religion. The contestants are judged on their skill at cooking, dancing, putting on make-up, reciting and singing.
