The Plaza de San Miguel sits next to the parish church, in the heart of the centre of Valsequillo.

The municipal programme describes it as an experience full of wit, spontaneity and laughter, in which improvisation turns any idea into a surprising show. It is promoted by the Performing Arts Circuit of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The eve of San Miguel continues in the same square at 22:30 with La Previa, the DJ set by Fabián Amador. It is an event in a public space and the programme publishes no price.
