«La Casa de Don Alonso» delves into true crime and legend, starting from the first documented case of murder through esotericism in Spain, in 1930. After the only son dies of typhus, a family turns to esotericism to try to contact his soul, and the supposed revelation that only a family sacrifice can save him sets off a spiral of desperation that threatens the life of one of the sisters. With Lorca-inspired touches, original music, sound design and lighting, the production invites reflection on human fragility, desperation and the boundaries between the sacred and the profane.
The performance is on Friday 30 October 2026 at 20:30 in the Plaza de la Iglesia of Santa Brígida, as part of the Finaos 2026 programme of the town’s Festivities department. Written and directed by Rubén Darío. Cast: Maykol Hernández (Domingo), Saray Castro (Olga), Adrián Torrijos (Julián), Sheila Martín (Dolores), Bárbara Pulido (Lucía), Saulo Trujillo (Luis) and Jennifer Artiles (Corifeo). The show is aimed at audiences aged 7 and over.
