La Cantata: Cantares de Tamasite y del Señor San Miguelverified
As part of the Fiestas Juradas of San Miguel Arcángel in Tuineje, which commemorate the battles of Cuchillete and Tamasite in 1740, La Cantata is performed at the main door of the Iglesia de San Miguel. The theatrical, poetic and musical work brings together Grupo Tabajoste, the rondalla of Tetir, the Banda San Miguel, fusiliers and juego del palo groups. Saturday 17 October, 21:00.
The Fiestas Juradas of San Miguel Arcángel take place in Tuineje from 25 September to 18 October 2026 to commemorate the battles of Cuchillete and Tamasite in 1740. As part of the fiestas, Cantares de Tamasite y del Señor San Miguel, known as La Cantata, is staged: a theatrical, poetic and musical work with Grupo Tabajoste, the rondalla of Tetir, the Banda San Miguel, a group of fusiliers and juego del palo associations, coordinated by the Asociación Más Ruines que Caín.
The performance takes place at the main door of the Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel, and at 23:00 an open-air verbena follows with Kalibre, Las Chicas del Klan and Nuevo Klan. La Cantata starts on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 21:00.
