Juan de la Rubia. Handeliana Iverified
Juan de la Rubia takes on both the organ and the conducting in Handeliana I, a programme in the organ series of the Auditorio de Tenerife. He is joined by the Orquesta Barroca de Tenerife, with Adrián Linares as concertino. The concert brings together a selection of George Frideric Handel's concertos for organ and orchestra, played on historical instruments. Tickets cost 15 euros.

The programme is built as a selection of George Frideric Handel's concertos for organ and orchestra, approached with historical instruments and with an organ of avant-garde design.
The concert takes in the overture to Rodelinda, the Organ Concerto op. 4 no. 4 in F major HWV 292, the Concerto in B flat major HWV 288, the Concerto op. 7 no. 4 in D minor HWV 309, the Sonata for violin and continuo op. 1 no. 6 in G minor and the Concerto op. 4 no. 1 in G minor.
