Free stargazing session at Caños de Fuegoverified
The Caños de Fuego visitor centre in Los Llanos de Aridane holds a free astronomy observation session with the Agrupación Astronómica de La Palma. It starts with observing the Sun and, as the afternoon turns to night, moves on to identifying planets, stars and constellations, guided by members of the astronomy group. Open to all ages, from 18:00 to 23:00, and free until capacity is reached.
The session is a hands-on introduction to astronomy for all ages. Members of the Agrupación Astronómica de La Palma (AAP) guide the observation and help visitors learn about the different celestial bodies: first the Sun and, as night falls, planets, stars and constellations.
The GastroBar Caños de Fuego stays open during the activity. Participation is free until capacity is reached, and the observation continues until 23:00. It starts at the Caños de Fuego visitor centre in Los Llanos de Aridane on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 18:00.
