Nicotine Swing is a Tenerife band with more than fifteen years behind it, recognised at the Premios Canarios de la Música. Born around gypsy jazz and the tradition of Django Reinhardt, its sound has grown into something increasingly personal, with touches of bolero, pop structures, the expressiveness of Italian song and echoes of other roots music. The band has played festivals and gatherings in India, South Korea and Colombia.
Its third album, Decidí, blends swing and gypsy jazz with other elements in the service of the song; its eight tracks deal with heartbreak, resentment and loss, in lyrics that move between irony, vulnerability and a certain emotional darkness. The concert, part of Jazz in the Hall, is suitable for all ages and lasts about 70 minutes. Tickets from €8. The concert takes place at the Sala Polivalente of Teatro El Sauzal on Thursday 15 October 2026, at 20:00.
