IVAN & HADOUMverified
This is the second of the two screenings that the CINE LANZAROTE season devotes to IVAN & HADOUM at CIC El Almacén in Arrecife. The Spanish feature, made in 2026, runs for 103 minutes, is shown in Spanish and is not recommended for viewers under twelve. Ian de la Rosa directed and wrote it, with Silver Chicón and Herminia Loh in the leading roles. The cheapest ticket costs 3.00 euros.
The film follows Iván, who falls in love with Hadoum, a woman who has just started at the Almería greenhouse where they both work. The promotion he is chasing at work ends up interfering with the relationship and forces him to decide what kind of person he wants to be. The programme lists it as drama, romance and transgender cinema.
The awards listed by the season include the Teddy Award for best feature at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in 2026, the Special Jury Prize, the Biznaga de Plata, at the 29th Málaga Film Festival in 2026, and the best screenplay award for Ian de la Rosa at that same festival. Anyone who cannot make the 14 October pass has this second chance. Sales run through the Cabildo de Lanzarote official platform, from 3.00 euros.
