IVAN & HADOUMverified
The CINE LANZAROTE season brings the Spanish feature IVAN & HADOUM to CIC El Almacén in Arrecife, written and directed by Ian de la Rosa. The 2026 drama runs for 103 minutes, is screened in Spanish and is not recommended for viewers under twelve. Silver Chicón and Herminia Loh lead the cast. The film took the Teddy Award for best feature at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in 2026. Tickets start at 3.00 euros.
Iván falls in love with Hadoum, a new co-worker, in the Almería greenhouse where they both work. The promotion he is hoping for begins to interfere with the relationship and forces him to decide what kind of person he wants to be. The programme lists the film as drama, romance and transgender cinema.
Alongside the Berlin Teddy Award, IVAN & HADOUM won the Special Jury Prize, the Biznaga de Plata, at the 29th Málaga Film Festival in 2026, together with the best screenplay award for Ian de la Rosa. The screening is part of the CINE LANZAROTE season run by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, and the film is programmed in two passes, on 14 and 15 October. Tickets are sold from 3.00 euros through the Cabildo official sales platform.
