Two bodies relate to each other between admiration and dependence, trying to impose an idea of eternity on their organic, inevitably finite matter. How to stay on one’s feet? How to love when the outside world imposes itself as noise, incoherence, threat? Sometimes the other is a support; sometimes, a void that opens up. In Richard Mascherin’s work, the fall runs through the body as a physical, emotional and spiritual experience and becomes a way of relating to the world.
Direction and choreography are by Richard Mascherin, who dances with Ignacio Fizona, with music by Alejandro Da Rocha and lighting design by Laura Iturralde. The piece is funded by the Cabildo de Tenerife, in collaboration with the Centro Coreográfico Canal and the Fundación Antonio Gades. For ages 18 and over, general admission 8 €. The performance is on Thursday 22 October 2026 from 20:00 to 20:30 at the Paraninfo ULL in San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
