On Friday 4 September the 3rd Traditional Craft Market opens from 17:00 to 20:00 as part of the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Pino in El Paso. The afternoon programme: 17:00 opening; 17:30 children's creative basketry workshop led by Beatriz Fernández, part one; 17:30 introductory sheepskin workshop by Linum Creación Textil; 17:30 performance by Bonita Brass Band; 20:00 closing.
Both workshops require advance registration on 638 666 257, from 09:00 to 13:00. The rest of the market is freely accessible. There is a food area with German cooking, Moroccan pastries, honeys and tasting plates. The market is organised by El Paso town council and the Mercadillo Municipal, with the backing of the Cabildo of La Palma and the Canary Islands government.
