2nd Villa de Mazo Heritage Days: opening and talks on archaeology and natureverified
Opening of the 2nd Villa de Mazo Heritage Days (15 to 18 October), under the motto "Rastreamos el pasado para proyectarnos hacia el futuro". After the opening comes the Archaeology and Nature block: Arnoldo Santos Guerra on the Roque de Los Muchachos and Juan Francisco Navarro Mederos on Belmaco and La Palma's rock engravings. Thursday 15 October at 18:00 at the Centro de la Cultura Andares.
The 2nd Villa de Mazo Heritage Days (II Jornadas Patrimoniales de Villa de Mazo) run from 15 to 18 October under the motto "Rastreamos el pasado para proyectarnos hacia el futuro" (tracing the past to look towards the future), organised by Ancestros and funded by the Cabildo de La Palma and Villa de Mazo town council. The first day begins with the opening and continues with the Archaeology and Nature block: at 18:30 the talk "Roque de Los Muchachos. Una cúspide a proteger" by Arnoldo Santos Guerra, and at 19:15 "Belmaco y la candidatura de los grabados palmeros a Patrimonio Mundial" by Juan Francisco Navarro Mederos.
All of the day's activities take place at the Centro de la Cultura Andares in Villa de Mazo. The opening is on Thursday 15 October 2026, at 18:00.
