2nd Sabor y Tradición Fairverified
On Sunday 4 October, from 10:00, the Plaza Municipal of Valleseco hosts the second Sabor y Tradición fair: a market of local produce, a livestock display, cookery workshops and culinary demonstrations. Apples, cider and vinegar from the town are the main characters. The poster gives only place, date and starting time: no closing hour, no workshop schedule and no price are stated anywhere.
Sabor y Tradición is the food chapter of the Valleseco festivities and reaches its second edition. The square fills with stalls of local produce, alongside a livestock display, cookery workshops and culinary demonstrations spread through the day. Apples, cider and vinegar from the town take the central place again, together with the rest of the local harvest. The initiative comes from the council's local development department, within the Dinamiza Rural project promoted by the Canary Islands Government, and aims to give farming its value back, strengthen the local food identity and move the local economy.
The fair is on Sunday 4 October from 10:00 in the Plaza Municipal of Valleseco. The poster gives only place, date and starting time: it sets no closing hour, gives no schedule for the workshops or the demonstrations, does not say whether booking is required and mentions no price. On the same day, from 18:30, the 52nd Romería-Ofrenda to Nuestra Señora de La Encarnación takes place, so the day links a market in the morning with a romería in the evening.
