2nd La Corona Social Endurance Riding Training in Icod el Alto
On Sunday 4 October, from 10:00, the La Cabezada area of Icod el Alto (Los Realejos) hosts the 2nd La Corona Social Endurance Riding Training, a free gathering for children and beginners organised by the CD Asociación Ecuestre La Trilla. There are 20, 10 and 5 km routes. Rider registration closed on 1 October, but spectators are welcome to watch the starts.
On Sunday 4 October 2026, the La Cabezada area, on the road of the same name in Icod el Alto (Los Realejos), hosts the 2nd La Corona Social Endurance Riding Training. It is an initiative of the Club Deportivo Asociación Ecuestre La Trilla, supported by the Los Realejos town council: a free equestrian gathering, run as a training day, aimed at children and at anyone who wants to get started in endurance riding. The children's routes are always ridden with adults alongside, and every horse goes through a veterinary check before the start.
Starts are staggered: the 20 km route sets off at 10:00, the 10 km children's route at 11:00 and the 5 km children's route at 12:00. The day ends with a prize-giving and a shared lunch. Registration to take part on horseback closed on 1 October; for spectators it is a good chance to see the riders and their horses up close in the hill country above Los Realejos.
