1st Carrera Urbana VGR (5 and 10 km night race) in Valle Gran Reyverified
Valle Gran Rey town council presents the 1st Carrera Urbana VGR, a new night race on asphalt starting from the Plaza de San Pedro and running along the Avenida Marítima and the Puerto de Vueltas area. There are two distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, suited both to runners who are just starting out and to more experienced ones, plus a 1-kilometre junior race for the youngest.
The first edition of the Carrera Urbana VGR is a new sporting event organised by Valle Gran Rey town council on La Gomera. It is run on asphalt at night, starting from the Plaza de San Pedro and following the Avenida Marítima and the Puerto de Vueltas area.
There are two distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, offering options both for runners who are starting out and for those with more experience, plus a 1-kilometre junior race to get the youngest involved. The start is at the Plaza de San Pedro on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 20:00.
