Homo Sapiens is a rock band born in Gran Canaria and led by bassist Germán Ramos, a musician with a long track record in the island's rock scene. Founded in 2009, the band plays original songs influenced by Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, AC/DC and Boston, yet with a sound of its own, direct and full of energy. The current line-up is completed by Julio Ramos on drums, Gustavo Mediavilla on guitar and Devenira Vega Padrón on vocals.
For its 17th anniversary the band comes to Sala Canarias en Vivo, on Calle Matagalpa in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with a show rooted in classic rock and a carefully staged performance.
