Harionetas 2026: «Huellas» – Periferia Teatroverified
Periferia Teatro, a Murcia company specialising in puppet theatre for children and families, brings «Huellas» to Harionetas, the Haría Puppet Theatre Festival: a playful journey through the history of the friendship between humans and dogs, back to when wolves first became companions to people. This is the 18:00 performance on Saturday 17 October, for ages 3 and up; the other is at 17:00. Tickets 0 €.
Periferia Teatro specialises in puppet theatre for children and families, has taken its repertoire to countries such as Mexico, India, Japan, the United States and France, and has received awards including FETÉN, Drac d'Or and Titirijai. At Harionetas, the Haría Puppet Theatre Festival, it presents «Huellas» (Footprints), which asks when and how the bond between two species as different as humans and dogs began. The piece takes a playful historical journey through that relationship, looking for the traces of a friendship that goes back thousands of years, to when wolves started to become companion animals.
Performed by Mariso García and directed by Juan Manuel Quiñonero. Each performance lasts 40 minutes and is intended for ages 3 and up; there is another performance the same Saturday at 17:00. It takes place at the Sociedad de Máguez on Calle Santa Bárbara in Máguez (Haría), and tickets, priced at 0 €, are issued through Ecoentradas. Saturday 17 October 2026 at 18:00.
