Trukitrek, founded in Menorca in 1998, combines gestural theatre with puppetry and fuses stage and animated film, using techniques from string puppets to direct manipulation and the «humanette» style, with characters that are half puppet, half human. The company has taken its work to 42 countries. At Harionetas, the Haría Puppet Theatre Festival, it presents «Clic», a retro-futuristic dystopia in which the wicked Mephisto tries to steal Faust's soul, set in a society watched over by a single corporation, where human bodies are «improved» with mechanical organs. It is a transhumanist fable about how algorithms encourage certain behaviours, needs and ways of thinking.
Performed by Lu Pulici and Josep Piris, who also directs, the show lasts 45 minutes and is intended for ages 14 and up. It takes place at the Sociedad de Máguez on Calle Santa Bárbara in Máguez (Haría), and tickets, priced at 0 €, are issued through Ecoentradas. Friday 16 October 2026 at 20:00.
