On Saturday 26 September 2026 at 22:30 the Plaza del Socorro hosts the grand fireworks display, put on by the crosses of the district and the Comisión de las Fiestas del Socorro 2026. The pyrotechnics are by Hermanos Tostes. It rounds off the eve, a day that began in the morning with the motorcycle run and continued in the evening with the religious celebration and the procession.
The twinning act with the district of El Socorro in the municipality of Breña Baja, on La Palma, follows, staging an auto mariano that brings together tradition, history, music, fire and stagecraft in tribute to the iconography of the Virgin. The verbena then closes the night, with the Orquesta Wamampy and Grupo Atenia. The programme sets no time for these two acts: they are chained to the display.
