Graciela Conchalovskyverified

Culture

Graciela Conchalovsky is a series of monologues created, directed and performed by Mónica Lleó, inspired by Ravel's Bolero and on stage since 2007. Its character runs through the clichés of both sides of the Atlantic with humour, sarcasm and sharp criticism, drawing on the author's own move across the ocean from Argentina. Friday 30 October at 20:00 at the Teatro Cruce de Culturas in Agüimes. Tickets 3 €.

Graciela Conchalovsky, by the Compañía Mónica Lleó, grew out of a literary experiment inspired by Ravel's Bolero: writing a character from inside her own repetitive neurosis, like a musical score that changes each time it repeats the base melody. On stage since 2007, the show follows a woman who runs through the clichés of both sides of the Atlantic while looking for her place in the world, with humour, sarcasm and a very particular view of both cultures.

Created, directed and performed by Mónica Lleó, it brings her own experience of crossing the ocean from Argentina to the stage in a series of sharply critical monologues. It lasts 65 minutes, is recommended for ages 16 and over, and tickets cost 3 €, in the stalls or the amphitheatre. Teatro Cruce de Culturas, Cruce de Arinaga (Agüimes), Friday 30 October 2026, at 20:00.
