Gastro-Local takes the banana of Los Silos from the farm to the plate. The morning begins with a visit to an organic banana plantation in the municipality, where the growing process is explained on site, and continues with a tasting of dishes built around the banana, each with its own pairing.
It takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026, from 10:00 to 12:30. The meeting point is Camino Real Las Arenas, next to the Charca de Vinatea, in Los Silos. Advance registration is required at food-arte.com; detailed information about the route is sent after registering.
The initiative is part of the Dinamiza Rural programme, with the Government of the Canary Islands and the Los Silos town council.
