Gáldar con el Corazón en Mozambique: solidarity concert in Sardinaverified
The solidarity event Gáldar con el Corazón en Mozambique is held on Wednesday 23 September at 20:00 at the premises of the Asociación de Vecinos San Pedro González Telmo, in Sardina del Norte, within the fiestas in honour of San Pedro González Telmo and Nuestra Señora del Carmen. The musical part is performed by Juan Carlos Álamo Rosario and Dunia Candelaria Sosa. It is organised by the department of institutional cooperation and international solidarity.
From 1 September to 3 October, Sardina del Norte in Gáldar, on the north coast of Gran Canaria, celebrates its fiestas in honour of San Pedro González Telmo and Nuestra Señora del Carmen, organised by the Asociación de Vecinos San Pedro González Telmo and the Comisión de Fiestas with the Ayuntamiento de Gáldar. On Wednesday 23 September the premises of the Asociación de Vecinos host Gáldar con el Corazón en Mozambique, the solidarity event of the festive programme.
The event begins at 20:00 with a musical performance by Juan Carlos Álamo Rosario and Dunia Candelaria Sosa. It is organised by the department of institutional cooperation and international solidarity, which places it inside the district's fiesta programme. The official programme gives no repertoire and no running time for the evening, held in the hall of the Asociación de Vecinos.
