The gala of the National Folklore Festival brings groups from Cáceres, Las Palmas and Guía to the Plaza Grande for a night of traditional music and dance.
The gala is the central event of the 33rd Isla de Gran Canaria National Folklore Festival. The performers are Grupo de Folklore La Serrana de Piornal (Cáceres), Agrupación Folklórica San Cristóbal from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Asociación Cultural y Recreativa Estrella y Guía.
It is a long night on a large stage, with costumes, plucked strings and dance from different mainland and Canarian traditions in the same programme.
