Windsurf (PWA) and wingfoil (GWA) World Cup at the Sotavento lagoon, 17 July to 1 August 2026.
The 38th Fuerteventura World Cup brings the elite of windsurfing and wingfoiling to Sotavento beach. From 17 July to 1 August 2026, PWA windsurfers compete in Slalom-X and Freestyle, and from 27 July the GWA wingfoilers contest the FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle disciplines.
The venue is the Sotavento lagoon beside the René Egli Center in Costa Calma, one of the world's top wind spots thanks to its steady trade winds. Beach access for spectators is free.
