Fiestas Patronales de San Bartolomé - Tunte 2026verified

Tunte honours its patron saint, San Bartolomé the Apostle, from 16 to 24 August. The Noche Tuntera opens on Sunday the 16th at 21:00 with the 22nd Medianías del Timple concert (Totoyo Millares Memorial), parranda music and a tasting area for Canarian wines and cheeses. Weekdays bring children's activities, the charcoal-burner workshop, a baking competition and open-air children's cinema on Plaza de Santiago, alongside the workshop decorating the cart that will represent the town at the Teror pilgrimage. On Friday the 21st at 20:00 the cart race runs on the association's 16th anniversary, and at 22:00 Tony Tun Tun, Idel El Mulatico and Línea DJ perform. On Sunday the 23rd at 18:00 the Carbonero comes down from Las Lagunas with the Banda Isleña, followed by the Verbena del Carbonero at 20:00. Monday the 24th, the main day, starts at 04:30 with the diana floreada, mass and procession at 12:00, Canarian sancocho at 14:00 and the closing gala at 20:30 in tribute to Nuria Medina.
