Nuestra Señora de la Luz patron saint festivities 2026 in Los Silosverified
Over a month of patron saint festivities in Los Silos, with salsa, fanfares, processions, fireworks and the Boreal Festival.
21 August to 26 September. 21 August, 7.30pm: opening of the Isla Baja Salsa Fest exhibition. 28 August, 9.30pm: opening address at the old San Sebastián convent and concert with El Septeto Santiaguero and La Fórmula de la Salsa. 29 and 30 August: Isla Baja Salsa Fest. 31 August, midnight: traditional bell ringing. 5 September, 9.30pm: art night with timple player Irahí Afonso and a dance. 7 September, 9pm: mass, procession and fireworks. 8 September: main day, with pilgrims' mass at 8am, solemn mass at noon and the II Fanfare Gathering at 6.30pm. 13 September: octave, with dawn parade at 9am and solemn mass at 11am. 18, 19 and 20 September: Festival Boreal.
