Fiestas del Socorro 2026 (Breña Baja): ofrenda floral, expo de vehículos y procesión extraordinariaverified
A floral offering from Breña Alta, a car and motorbike meet, and an extraordinary procession in the evening.
El Socorro is a coastal neighbourhood of Breña Baja, in the east of La Palma. Its fiestas run from 27 to 31 August, with the novena days continuing until 6 September. The best known act is the Romería de El Socorro, which comes down from the old quarter of San Antonio.
The sixth Floral Offering sets off from San Pedro, in Breña Alta, organised by Eda Eventos. At midday there is a car and motorbike meet, organised by RR Eventos, and a performance by Parranda La Palma.
In the evening La Palabra is sung by Gándara de Breña Baja, and then an extraordinary procession goes to the Villaflora Psychosocial Centre, where a plaque is unveiled for the 40 years since it opened, accompanied by the Breña Baja municipal band.
Sunday 30 August 2026: 10:30 sixth Floral Offering from San Pedro, Breña Alta, organised by Eda Eventos. 12:00 bell ringing. 12:00 car and motorbike meet, organised by RR Eventos. 12:30 performance by Parranda La Palma. 19:00 La Palabra sung by Gándara de Breña Baja, followed by an extraordinary procession to the Villaflora Psychosocial Centre with the unveiling of a plaque for its 40 years, with the Breña Baja municipal band.
