Fiestas del Socorro 2026 (Breña Baja): función solemne, procesión y noche de humorverified
Last day of the main programme: the solemn service, the procession and a comedy night with Darío López.
El Socorro is a coastal neighbourhood of Breña Baja, in the east of La Palma. Its fiestas run from 27 to 31 August, with the novena days continuing until 6 September. The best known act is the Romería de El Socorro, which comes down from the old quarter of San Antonio.
The solemn religious service in honour of the Virgen del Socorro is at half past seven, and afterwards the procession goes along the usual route, accompanied by the Nueva Esperanza municipal band of Breña Alta and the tableau vivant.
The day had started at six in the morning with the diana floreada, and it ends with Darío López's comedy night and his show «Evolucionando».
Monday 31 August 2026: 06:00 diana floreada. 12:00 bell ringing. 12:00 mass in memory of Juan Antonio «Campanera» and all the departed of the neighbourhood. 17:00 bouncy castles for all ages with TABAYZÚ. 19:30 solemn religious service in honour of the Virgen del Socorro, followed by the procession along the usual route with the Nueva Esperanza municipal band of Breña Alta and the tableau vivant. 21:30 comedy night with Darío López, «Evolucionando».
