Carmen festival of La Santa (Tinajo), a fishing village in northern Lanzarote, with a procession on 16 July.
La Santa, a fishing village in the municipality of Tinajo in northern Lanzarote, celebrates the festivities of the Virgen del Carmen from 6 to 19 July 2026. The main day is Thursday 16 July: at 18:00 the land procession of the sailors' patron saint takes place, accompanied by the Timbayba Musical Group. The programme is rounded off with religious events, open-air dances and popular activities in a spot known for its seafaring atmosphere and surf conditions.
