A women's fishing contest in the afternoon and, at night, the rey mala, envite and parcheesi finals.
La Bajita is a neighbourhood of Villa de Mazo, in the east of La Palma, and its fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Carmen run from 31 August to 6 September. They are organised by the AA.VV. Ntra. Señora del Carmen La Bajita, with Villa de Mazo town hall and the Cabildo of La Palma. The feel is a seafaring one, as befits the patron saint.
The women's fishing contest opens the afternoon, and at eight the finals of the championships that started on 31 August are played.
Thursday 3 September 2026: 16:00 women's fishing contest. 20:00 finals of rey mala, envite and parcheesi.
